When purchasing packaging machinery, it is necessary to clearly realize that this is not just a machine or a task, because packaging machines can be said to be an integral part of the packaging production line, so buying a machine is like stepping into a new marriage relationship , requires careful consideration. So, what are the precautions?
 1. Suppliers will only provide solutions on the basis of demand, so if the content is inconsistent, it is possible to get different types of equipment recommendations, and it is impossible to compare horizontally.
 2. Don’t buy products from small companies, look for manufacturers with rich experience in the industry. Generally speaking, the manufacturer will collect some user cases, which can be obtained from the manufacturer for reference when purchasing.
 3. Don’t exclude it from the supplier list without thinking because of the bad experience or word of mouth of the manufacturer a long time ago. Correspondingly, do not skip the credit investigation of the manufacturer because of the good reputation of the other party. Things change over time, and what was good in the past does not mean that it is not good now, and vice versa.
 4. It is very important to visit the manufacturer or agent to inspect the product in person. Some packaging companies trust equipment manufacturers too much, which is manifested in the fact that the sales staff of the manufacturers will visit the packaging companies many times, but the packaging companies do not realize what it means to visit the suppliers. What’s more, when dealing with suppliers, consultants, packaging distributors, and other end-user relationships, remember: no problem is the biggest problem.
 5. If you want to establish a long-term cooperative relationship with suppliers, you need to know their responses or reactions in specific situations, including sales to delivery, product testing to installation and activation, pre-sales to after-sales. While everything can be specified in the contract, it’s a good idea to know how the supplier routinely handles it. If suppliers are forced to do things that they are not good at, there may be situations where obligations cannot be fully met. Go back and look at the service: do they have an after-sales location in your country or continent; do they have a 24/7 customer hotline? How long is the warranty period? Things are always imperfect, machines are damaged, and screws keep falling out. When this inevitable problem occurs, how motivated are suppliers to solve the problem? Finally, try to choose a supplier with a qualified after-sales point nearby, and there is no need to bargain for the fare and accommodation fee for the manufacturer’s customer service representative.
6. Understand the relationship between the supplier and other suppliers in the supply chain. It is impossible for packaging companies to purchase equipment from only one company, so it is very important to understand the performance of suppliers when they need to cooperate with other upstream and downstream manufacturers. Are suppliers interested in learning about your operational processes? What problems do their machines typically encounter downstream? Just like if you were visiting a robotics manufacturing facility, learn about the facility’s capabilities and experience with robotic assembly.
7. If packaging products companies have noticed the need to purchase major spare parts, then they may prefer to outsource all assembly work to equipment (including aluminum foil die-cutting machines, polarizer cutting machines, etc.) suppliers – so that there is no need to hire dedicated staff. If the vendor already meets your other criteria, assess whether it has the potential to become an outsourcing provider.
